Betha + Matthew married! | Houston Wedding Photographer

Betha and I were in a small group together when I was in the 8th grade.

Let's just say that was a long time ago. So when she contacted us to photograph her wedding I was so honored! What a fun way to reunite with such an old friend!

Matthew and Betha are SO FUN.

There's just not any way around it. These two love to have a good time...at just about any cost. From the way they met to the details of their wedding day, they just know how to have a blast! There were origami cranes at each place setting, dice as favors, sushi, a cake cut with a katana and more. It was fascinating to see how they brought the details of their story into their big day.

These will give you a glimpse of this kid loving, Japanese-influenced, gaming, hilarious couple and the beginning of their exciting marriage.

I can hear "Isn't She Lovely" playing in the background every time I see this photo!

Betha teaches pre-k, so she invited some of her ADORABLE students to be a part of the ceremony.

I got to go back to Avenue B Grocery in Hyde Park and this time it was open.

And......WOW!

Those sandwiches really are amazing. I definitely achieved sandwich satisfaction. I couldn't believe how simple such a perfect sandwich could be. Delicious bread, fresh veggies, quality meats, good cheeses, and specialty sauces (habanero mayo!)-all stacked into a wonderful sandwich and wrapped in butcher paper. It is the perfect lazy weekend lunch spot and I will go back often.

allison + ryan | austin maternity photography

We had such a wonderful time shooting this maternity session down on SoCo a couple of weeks back. Though, I'm pretty sure it is impossible not to have a wonderful time when you're with a couple like Ryan and Allison. They are a great mix of gracious and silly and they complement each other perfectly. I can't wait to see them two months down the road with their precious baby girl in their arms. She will be one blessed little baby to have parents like them.

Ryan is constantly making Allison laugh.

Blythe already has her own pink club to hit the links with dad. Precious gift!

Tiny Addison | Austin Newborn Photographers

You know the glow they talk about pregnant women having?

Well, if Amanda was glowing when she was pregnant with precious baby Addison, she is nearly blinding when she holds this baby girl in her arms.

Amanda and Kevin prayed and waited and trusted and expected Addison so well. Photographing their one week old was such a blessing.

Seeing this little family form has been a ridiculous treat for me. Watching this new mommy and daddy cherish their first born taught me a little bit more about love.

Friends, we're so excited about documenting the first year of your Addie's life! Thanks for letting us be a part.
