Whitney Wedding | Houston Wedding Photographer

Amidst the drought Texans have faced this year, the green grass that covered The Brookwood Community was as miraculous as the depth of Sheridan and Wes' love for each other. From the gorgeous chapel in which they shared their wedding vows to the green house surrounded reception hall, this wedding venue was fit for royalty.

With great expectation and overwhelming peace Sheridan greeted me on her wedding day. Certainly excited about her big day, but much more excited about a lifetime with her best friend, this bride grinned at everything that fall evening.

I've known Wes for awhile, and until I spent time with his beautiful bride and her family I didn't think it was possible that anyone loved people as well as he does. Anyone that's met this couple knows how it feels to be appreciated, known and loved well. These two are a fabulous example of the purpose of marriage described in the scriptures. Not only do they love one another like Christ and the Church, but they will teach the world by the way they love others how Jesus loves us.

Friends, being a part of your wedding day was a treasure to me. Thank you so much for your hospitality and the loving welcome into your family.

What a gracious groom to allow his wedding day to be on an Aggie game day (eye roll!). This group of men surrounded the closest screen they could find until they walked down the aisle.

Did I mention they're BEAUTIFUL?!

The dance party at this reception rivaled a scene from Footloose. It's ok if looking at these photos makes you wish you were there.

Sheridan | Houston Bridal Portraits

Donna Lewis, "I Love You, Always Forever" comes to mind when I see these photos. "You've got, the most unbelievable blue eyes I've ever seen ..."

Sheridan was a knock out bride last weekend. Watching the way her groom melted upon first site of her coming down the aisle was a spectacular wordless picture of the real kind of true love.

The day I spent with Sheridan taking bridal portraits felt like a day I'd remember always with a forever friend. This stunning bride - warm, inviting, and comfortable - is so much fun to be around. I know now, after getting to know friends at her wedding that this is true of Sheridan. She loves her people well and naturally makes people feel so comfortable.

Their wedding day was wonderful, and I am so thankful to have been a part of it. I can't wait to show you photos from the day so soon!

Wes and Sheridan, I really am so thankful to call you both good friends. Hope France is FABULOUS! I really can't wait to hear all about it.

Jonathan + Kate | Austin Wedding Photographer

Miraculously comfortable summer temperatures, the smell of barbeque and shade of century-old oaks made Jo and Kate's wedding a Texas treasure! The beautiful bride radiated with her groom in site as she walked down that long stone path. One of the most content people I know, being with her groom makes Kate spill over with joy.

The Salt Lick was a fabulous backdrop that seeped southern hospitality on their Labor Day weekend wedding. A fellow photographer, Kate planned her wedding perfectly. With intimate details around every corner, guests were greeted with little pieces of the couple's personalities and found them until they sent the couple off.

And personality is not something they lack. Get anywhere near Jo and Kate and you'll find yourself laughing out loud in a matter of minutes. So much fun, Jo and Kate even postponed their honeymoon to catch an Aggie football game the day after their wedding.

I was so thankful to be a part of this couple's big day. These two are so well-loved, and I'll tell you what... it is very well-deserved.

Instead of a wedding cake, the couple surprised Jo's mom on her 60th birthday with a cake for her. Guests were thrilled to have a second reason to celebrate.
